OmahPi is an advanced social media scheduling and automation platform designed to assist creators, digital publishers, and businesses in scheduling, managing, and publishing content automatically to their authorized Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, Threads, X (Twitter), and TikTok profiles.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in full compliance with the Meta Platform Terms, Facebook Developer Policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Information We Collect

To provide our automated publishing and scheduling services, we only collect necessary information, including:

• Account Credentials & Tokens: OAuth 2.0 Access Tokens (Page Access Tokens, User Tokens) granted directly by Meta or other social networks when you connect your accounts. We never request or store your Facebook password.
• Page & Profile Metadata: Facebook Page ID, Page Name, Profile Picture URL, and Page category needed to display your accounts in the dashboard.
• Content to be Published: Post drafts, captions, scheduled timestamps, images, videos, and URLs that you explicitly upload or import via CSV/RSS for distribution.
• Publishing Logs & Analytics: Post publication status, release URLs, timestamps, error codes, and aggregated post reach/engagement metrics retrieved via official APIs.

3. Facebook & Meta Platform Data Usage

When you authorize OmahPi to access your Facebook assets, our app requests specific permissions via official Meta Graph API. Each permission is strictly used as described:

• pages_show_list: To list the Facebook Pages that you administer so you can choose which Page to connect to your OmahPi dashboard.
• business_management: To discover and link Pages associated with your Meta Business Manager portfolio.
• pages_manage_posts: To publish, schedule, or update posts, photos, carousels, videos, and Stories to your selected Facebook Pages as initiated by you.
• pages_read_user_content: To verify post statuses and display published post previews on your dashboard.
• pages_manage_engagement: To publish scheduled first-comment replies or follow-up links to your published posts when configured by you.
• read_insights: To retrieve aggregated reach, impressions, and engagement metrics for your connected Facebook Pages so you can measure post performance.

4. How We Use Information

All data collected is utilized solely to:

• Execute scheduled social media publications on your designated Pages.
• Provide automated RSS feed posting, video formatting, and bulk import services.
• Display publication logs, delivery confirmations, and performance analytics.
• Maintain secure authentication and refresh expired API access tokens.
• Prevent abuse, detect errors, and improve application stability.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, lease, or monetize your personal information or content under any circumstances. Data is only transmitted to:

• Social Media APIs: When you schedule a post, your caption and media are sent to the respective platform API (e.g., Meta Graph API for Facebook/Instagram).
• Hosting & Storage Providers: Secure infrastructure providers (e.g., our server hosting and Cloudflare CDN) necessary for reliable app operation.
• Legal Obligations: If required by valid court order or applicable law.

6. Storage & Security

We enforce industry-standard security protocols to safeguard your tokens and content. Access tokens are stored in secure, permission-restricted databases. All web traffic between your browser, our servers, and third-party APIs is encrypted using modern TLS (HTTPS) protocols.

7. Data Retention & User Data Deletion

We retain your Page identifiers and access tokens only for as long as your account remains connected in OmahPi. You can disconnect your Facebook Page at any time directly through the OmahPi dashboard or via your Facebook Account Settings.

8. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you possess the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
